As it was on a corner I wanted to improve it and make it pop. It had an initial tidy up and then the lawns were scarified. I'll put links to the work below. SIX STEP OBSTRUCTION for the ride on mower !!

These six steps at the graveyard are a big obstruction to the ride on mower. I have used the mower on this site lots of times but I used to use the field next door to gain access. The farmer has plowed up to the Hedges so ground is too soft for mower. I've decided to try and get up and down the steps. It really was high when you are sitting on the mower....here goes... The hedges are looking amazng!! Great job Lee
@@green_day_freak 😊🤟🙏
we are doing a simlar job at some ALMS houses, the holly hedge is a bit slanted and its getting higher and higher, sometimes you just have to cut in hard to keep them nice and tight, although for us it would have been better to do this during winter so this time of year we can trim, but as we have had multiple requests, well...neeeds must, nice job matey, they look awsome

Looks 100x better than earlier in the year Lee, do you still look after the flats where there was one always moaning about the noise of the machinery ?

I’ve watched this from the beginning and how you’ve transformed the seriously neglected hedges to something of great beauty, has been amazing Lee. The residents and you must be so happy. Pity some of the residents are parking so close to the hedges, making maintenance difficult. This is superb Lee and thank you so much for sharing with us, much appreciated 👍💎👍💎👍

Mate, I just got a HLA56 battery cutter and I'm impressed, batteries go a long way and so much better for weight and vibration. I was getting serious numbness and pins and needles from using my long reach for big jobs, my arteries are screwed, but if you're starting to get issues as we're getting older, try one, see what you think. You can get an extra half meter extension on them to help with the reach as well.
@Timmy51m cheers buddy ..thank you for looking after my poor body 😀... not interested in battery stuff to be honest.. if you are getting problems from petrol then yeah you've done the right thing..just not for me ...YET..

@@LHLgardenservices I will.
Great result Lee. The residents must be very happy to see the grounds looking so much better and level. They can walk on the pavements without dodging the bushes now. That ivy is a menace. Once it gets in the roof it will do so much damage, had it in my garage and it lifted woodwork and strangled the gutter clips. Personally, I would take it down to the same height as the hedges in the winter. Lovely job. 😄
@elisabethhopson5639 😊 thank you ..Nice comment as usual 🙏...yes I think I'll cut a defining line in the ivy about 2 feet down when I've time 👍
Absolutely lovely! Doing a hard cut back was so needed! Goes to show, they will bounce back with some patience. Fantastic results, Lee!!!

@TheHarlemShow01 cheers ...I had a link for it 🤔 I'll have a look 👌
Quite ridiculous! No information about the strength of the Sodium Hypochlorite and the dilution level. The chemical works perfectly well. But follow somebody who knows what he/she is doing. And it needs to be left (at the proper dilution level) for at least 45 minutes. It then needs to be jetwashed off to remove dissolved lichen and moss.

I have learned over the years who is a "plant person" and who is not. I grow a lot of tropical plants, which as you might guess, living in the Southeastern US like I do, you almost have to work to kill them. Boy can some people work hard to kill easy-care plants in pots that I give them. I know we get 60 inches of rain a year on the Gulf Coast, but you HAVE to water plant pots all the time. It's not in the ground. I know how you feel about the customer not getting the results and the joy they could get if they just followed your simple instructions. I'm giving plants as gifts, but it's sad when I drive by their house and see what could've easily been a beautiful dracaena or the like crisped up like paper in a fire.
@@AmraphelofShinar all the above 👍👍🙏
Hi Lee , watering is vital with bedding plants in pots . Good video… warts and all ! Drew in south Belfast .
@MagillGardenservices1964 💯👍 cheers buddy
I’ve got 3 rain barrels, 100 200 and 300. Brill for summer.
@patriciamalloy9131 👍👍 I'm all for rain butt's....however...this client HAS a large rain butt AND hose on the wall but both no good if he doesn't use them 🙈😅
Know exactly where you're coming from, I have clients that don't water anything! Problem is, it can take all day to water everything. Constantly moving multiple sprinklers ,whilst using watering cans. Which means I have no time to do the maintenance!!
💯👍...it can take ages to do it properly even with a hose if there are lots of pots / tubs...( but worth it if they do it)
Such a shame.... did you take the customer around each pot to show him the indications of "lack of water" that he should look for? just a thought. Stay safe Lee

Had the same mate with a few lawn renovations which I had suggested waiting until autumn to complete. Despite my advice and further advice to water it 3/4 times a day (which was accepted by the client) and upon returning, it had clearly not been watered enough. Even more annoying, one suggested they may have watered it too much and the seed had slipped, yet no visibility of this.... My suspicions are that once the seed begins to germinate, the client does not keep up with the watering in the first few days, the tap root dies and the grass plants perish and shrivel to nothing leaving almost no trace. Its frustrating and I get it. Chin up Lee
@benholland3682 yep...most frustrating....it needs the water most when it starts growing 🙈...we are better just banging our head on a wall sometimes 😒
